  14. I've been wondering, whether the option to make s.th. like an
  15. 'invisible face' would be desirable. At the moment selective-display
  16. doesn't work, and it is rather a cludge anyway. Outline or folding
  17. modes take their time replacing ^J with ^M when hiding a region.

  19. This could be done a lot faster and in line with the current design,
  20. if an (invisible . t) attribute could be added to a face.

  22. A fast, configurable minor folding-mode is among the top entries on my
  23. emacs wishlist. I might even start doing it myself (reusing existing
  24. packages for emacs 18) if invisible faces were implemented.

  26. Apart from that I like lucid-emacs very much, please keep up the good
  27. work.
