  16. Don't even *think* about using a gun for self-defense until you either
  17. complete a good gun safety/self-defense class, or at least read a bunch of
  18. good books on the subject.  The essential reference is _In the Gravest
  19. Extreme_ by Massad Ayoob.  Also good: _The Street-Smart Gun Book_, _The
  20. Truth about Self-Protection_, _Armed and Female_ (a great book and you
  21. don't have to be female to read it).

  23. There's at least three different ways the rubber bullets trick could get
  24. you into big trouble.  You either don't need a gun, or you need a real gun
  25. with real bullets (and you need it real bad).
