- In the U.S. VW Jettas are number two in the hit parade for car break-ins
- and thefts (VW cars make up 7 of the top 10). This is because they are
- notoriously easy to break-into/steal. (VW has made no attempt to rectify
- this, I wonder why???) My Jetta has been broken into around eight times,
- & stolen once. Hence my interest in a rec.autos.security. (I would prefer
- the name rec.autos.castrate_auto_thieves_with_a_rusty_knife, but perhaps
- that's a little too long).
