  13. Okay! Let me get this straight.
  14. 1) ALL bots, even nickserv and noteserv and the alike, have the potential of
  15.    flooding the net and should be removed.
  16. 2) Everyone using IRCii has the potential of flooding the channel and should
  17.    not IRC.
  18. 3) Everyone having the posibility of redirecting inputs and outputs of irc
  19.    to a programme, perhaps a infinite.output.programme | irc, which again
  20.    uses irc through a unix account has got the potential to flood the
  21.    channel and should not IRC.
  22. 4) There are a lot of silly discussions on IRC, and some channel go very
  23.    silent sometimes. Some people just login and don't say a word for half
  24.    an hour. This is a waste of bandwidth and these people should therefore
  25.    not IRC.
  26. 5) There are a lot of silly discussions going on on the newsgroups. Groups
  27.    like *jokes* and *silly* should be removed.
  28. 6) Silly comments are a waste of bandwidth and should be removed.
  29. 7) Disclaimers take up a lot of space and wastes bandwidth. They should be
  30.    removed.
  31. 8) Unix accounts have the potential to flood the net. They should be removed.

  33. Are we getting anywhere with this? I suppose we're left with the FTPing, but
  34. these can be taken over by sending eachother disks through the post. And what
  35. have we got left? Email perhaps? But you can flood the net with you email
  36. account, too. Perhaps we should just remove the net so that it can't be
  37. flooded. Voila! All problems have been solved.
