- Hello all,
-
- Ever since I heard about hypnosis, I have been wondering something.
- I don't hold much stock in the regression or memory therapy hypnosis
- purports to be capable of because I have heard many reports that say
- the patient, under hypnosis, is so driven to please the hypnotizer that
- he/she often just makes stuff up to please the hypnotizer.
- I am, however, very interested in something I have heard more than
- once, and that is that an hour of hyponosis is worth 8 hours of sleep.
- I would really appreciate any insight or references to some good
- literature on this facet of hypnosis.
- Note: if you can only be made to believe that you've had 8 hours of
- sleep and your body still needs the other 7 hours, please let me know that
- as well.
- Thanks for any help,
- Garrett
