- about Edelbrock intake and cams.....
- its the cam that edelbrock makes that sucks the gas down....
- it has a close lobe center and is an RV type cam with a healthy lift.
- i'm talking about the Perfomer cam here, not the Torker cam.
- these names are confusing, Torker is the higher RPM cam of the two.
- I have a Performer Cam and intake on an AMC 304 in a jeep.
- with 3.55 gears, 31 inch tires, and a 4 speed, pulling gas thru
- a carter AFB, i did a 16.2 second et down the 1/4th mile..
- oh, and i got 9.5:1 pistons in it too...
- now i don't know what you people are using these edelbrock products on
- that don't make power, but i disagree. it takes alot to push a
- jeep with big tires down the track like that with a 5.0 liter motor
