  24. I've heard, and read in Hot Rod, etc. that anymore, the type F Ford tranny
  25. fluid isn't always the best to use, as far as fluids are concerned.  Just 
  26. because it says Ford, doesn't mean it will work better with Ford fluid.

  28. The type F fluid was designed to work with the asbestos clutch packs, which
  29. Ford used extensively for many years.  The transmissions they offer now, 
  30. and that includes rebuild parts too, use organic clutch material like GM,
  31. etc.  It might be a good idea to check what kind of clutch material you 
  32. have, and decide accordingly.  You might be better off putting Dexeron, 
  33. (GM tranny fluid), in there than the type F stuff.
