  14. Sigh... I used to like Koontz, I really did.  But never again -
  15. listening to it on tape killed it.  DK mixes about 2 minutes
  16. of true plot development with 10 minutes of expounding about...
  17. the meaning of life, the point of death, the man's-best-friendness
  18. of dogs, the.... Give It A REST!!   I never understood how much
  19. I skim when I read.  But the man is preachy as hell, and can't/won't
  20. let up for an instant.  Never never listen to him on tape if you are
  21. a fan - maintain your illusions...
