  21. I have read Sunglasses After Dark, and agree that it, at least, is one 
  22. of the best vamp stories of the last decade.  I haven't read either 
  23. Tempter or In the Blood yet, but may do so in the near future. The 
  24. author's name is Nancy Collins (not Aldiss), and she is currently 
  25. principle writer for DC's Swamp Thing comic series.  I haven't read 
  26. any of her Swamp Thing series, but if she brings the same style and 
  27. sensibilities to it that she brought to vampire fiction, they should 
  28. be entertaining at least.
