Yes, some people do seem to make a living out of hating, don't they?

A lot of gay folks suffer from "internalized homophobia", hating
themselves and others for years, before (if they're lucky) they can
come to terms with their true identities.  Not so different from
yourself, and you were lucky.  Welcome.

Well, we excuse doorknobs:-) But we strive to put psycho killers
behind bars.  What should we do with the homophobes... and regular old
racists, for that matter?  There's been numerous debates on whether the
oppressed should just lie down and take it of stand up and fight.  I
haven't heard anyone, though, advocate just putting these hating
bastards behind bars and keeping them there for the rest of their
biological lives.  clearly they're not fit to live in free society
with the rest of us.  Anyone agree?
