  26. Actually, I think you are wrong. It's not that oppressed groups especially
  27. should be tolerant. It's that everyone should be tolerant. It's a sad fact that
  28. people (gay or straight) need to hurl insults at each other to feel better 
  29. about themselves. I would think that whenever anyone detected this behavior
  30. in onesself, one would immediately do a little growing up.

  37. Oh, I expect most people have felt extreme anger welling up inside them; it's
  38. not a difficult thing to understand. It's not even particularly impressive.
  39. Everyone feels rage and anger. The whole point to civilized living is to
  40. sublimate some of those urges and actually *live* together.

  48. It all really just strikes me as a waste of energy. There's a lot more good
  49. you can do in the world than shout down silly little children who like saying
