- Hi! I certainly hope this isn't going to stir up a lot of
- controversy (yes, I know there's more to goth than music!), but
- along with goth, one of my biggest hobbies is collecting music.
- Therefore, I thought that, since there's a lot of goth music
- out there that one doesn't just hear every day on the radio
- (surprise!), some of it excellent and some of it crap, perhaps we
- should have everyone post a list of their ten favorite albums
- so that maybe we can all discover something new...
- Since I'm suggesting it, I'll go first to get the ball rolling
- (I'll probably post an updated list later if the idea goes over
- well, since things are bound to escape me doing it off the top
- of my head like this...).
-
- Anyway, here it goes...
-
- 1. The Damned - "The Black Album"
- 2. The Sisters of Mercy - "Enter the Sisters" (bootleg)
- 3. Gene Loves Jezebel - "Immigrant"
- 4. Joy Division - "Closer"
- 5. Bauhaus - "Burning From the Inside"
- 6. Christian Death - "The Scriptures"
- 7. Dead Can Dance - "A Passage In Time"
- 8. The Cure - "Pornography"
- 9. The Pixies - "Doolittle"
- 10. Fields of the Nephlim - "Dawnrazor"
