  31. Isn't it astounding that the wannabe flamers get all shirty when
  32. the are bludgeoned with perfectly valid polysyllabic constructs.
  33. Yet they joyously abuse the one or two multisyllable words that
  34. they are comfortable with, over and over again, trying to
  35. indicated to their tired and wretched friends that they are
  36. witty, clever, and erudite ['erudite', a perfect example of one
  37. of those words that is just too hard for the protoflamer's
  38. clue-buckets to contain.  Imagine their consternation when hit by
  39. such priceless terms as 'elan', 'panache', 'verisimilitude' or
  40. even the rather plain 'ontological'.]

  42. If it wasn't for the existence of the vernacular, a full 80% of
  43. the flamers in this newsgroup would be reduced to spouting
  44. 'what?' fifteen million times, in order to get their pathetic
  45. little point across; said point being 'I'm stupid, help me!'.

  48. and bandwidth.
