-
- Quite. He might have reconsidered later, and withdrawn the comment about
- atheists not being patriots or citizens. But he didn't. When questioned
- about whether he really meant it, he got the Counsel to the President to
- reply, saying that he stood by the comment and that he didn't think atheists
- should be considered as patriots or citizens.
-
- But of course, you deleted that bit before following up, slimy weasel that
- you are.
-
- Of course, even if that were not the case, does the fact that Bush had slight
- doubts make it any better? Would it be OK for him to say "I don't know that
- Jews should be allowed to live" because, hey, he wasn't saying that they
- should *definitely* be gassed, right?

- I'd suggest you read the whole article before flaming it. You're not fooling
- anybody.

-
- There's no point my posting anything about the rest of your stupid knee-jerk
- denials, as you'd only delete the bits you didn't like, twist as many words
- as possible, and deny the rest.
-
- Face it, you and Bush have a lot in common. You're both slimy and
- intellectually dishonest -- assuming, that is, that either of you can validly
- be called "intellectually" anything. Oh, and you're both losers of course.
