  12. To clarify my point:

  14. I believe that any activity which takes up a large portion of time is a
  15. controlling influence. If you spend all your time complaining about 
  16. Christianity running your brain, deprogramming your kid brother, etc,
  17. then it influences you. A Satanist is a reverse Christian, pure and
  18. simple. This is because the satanist takes the standard Christian mythos
  19. and turns it around. I worship Satan instead of God, I mutilate myself
  20. (or claim to in silly postings to alt.evil) and so on. It accomplishes
  21. nothing at all. A pagan or freethinker, by contrast, comes up with either
  22. a new mythos or one that has no reference to christianity or anything else.
