To the author of "Re: Behold, I am a Moria freak!", regarding satanism and christianity...BRAVO! Excellent comparison, use of punctuation, etc. But this post is not about glorifying that article; more of a compliment.
Satanism. What IS satanism? Is it the following of satan, much as Christianity is following Christ? Is there a "Bible" for satan-followers? As Christianity preaches love, does satanism preach hate? Where are the lines drawn...are they parallel, yet opposite in beliefs?
First a look at satanism:
1) Satan worshippers believe that Christ is the Son of God.
2) Satan worshippers believe that God created the Universe.
3) Satan worshippers sacrifice young women for satan.
4) Satan worshippers hate Christ.
5) Since Christ stands for Good, satan worshippers feel they must do Evil.
6) Satan worshippers abuse, maim, and kill other beings as a part of ceremony.
A look at Christianity:
1) Christians believe that Christ is the Son of God.
2) Christians believe that God created the Universe.
3) Christians do not sacrifice young women for satan (nor lambs).
4) Christians love Christ.
5) Since Christ stands for Good, Christians feel they must do Good.
6) Christians do not abuse, maim and kill other beings as part of ceremony.
Well, author afore-mentioned, you seem to be right! There are many similarities at a first glance between satan-worshippers and Christians. However, opposites remain, and the distinction is clear: Christians do not like to harm innocent cats.
Now, lets define RELIGION. Religion is the process used by people to help understand what they cannot. It provides answers for questions, and replaces doubt with certainty.
"Sure, Christ is the Son of God. The Bible says satan was an angel of God. Thus, satan and God and Jesus co-exist. Jesus promises Heaven off earth, and a good life on earth. Satan promises ecstacies and pleasures (all those sacrificed young women, remember?) beyond comprehension on earth, and Hell and eternal flames off earth. But...
There is no afterlife.
There is no afterlife so *I* will never perish in flames! Ha-Ha!!"
And it is here that the rampant blubbering of the satan-worshipper falls apart. If you are going to be a satan-worshiper you might as well admitt to being damned to eternal flames; otherwise, you`re just not living up to your expectations of life, ie. you are a LOSER.
Now, please, hold your comments until you finish the article, all you satan-followers. I know that your world has suddenly collapsed around you as the undeniable facts of Guru Dave (yes, that's right, Guru Dave), penetrate your every thought and belief. But there is still hope.
Rename your religion!
Yes, for only the price of a name, you can still live the same valueless, moral-less life, the same deceitful, hateful ways.
Now I know you`re thinking, "But Guru Dave, I'm just not that creative..." so for all you snivelling, creativeless ex-satan worshippers out their, I've come up with a few names on my own.
Now, all of these may not be for you, but you get the point.
"But, Guru Dave, WHO will I do all of those evil, malicious things FOR?"
Well, yes, this IS the only minor problem with the above process. But I know SOME of you out there have a brain for yourselves...and if not, ask your neighbor. Do it for Hitler. Do it for your parents. Do it for yourselves. But PLEASE PLEASE *PLEASE* don't do it for anything even REMOTELY tied to Christianity. Do you really want to admit that Christ is the Son of God, and STILL do all of these evil things, yet sadly think that you are destined to merely rot in the ground? You can still do all of the
se evil things and not even WORRY about Christ!! Because to you, He just won`t exist...

If I coughed so hard that my lungs turned inside OUT (thus dangled from my mouth) and I were to then proceed to light them on fire (not necessarily at the same time I lit my intestines on fire), WHERE would I feel the pain?
