- Has it ever occured to anybody that saying you are a satanist merely because you
- hate christianity is still buying into christianity? You accept the standard
- christian mythos hook line and sinker, you just turn it around and say you
- hate what you should like, trample the cross, ect. If it wasn't so all pervasive
- and all powerful in the mind, you wouldn't go to so much trouble to desecrate
- it. It seems to me that if you really were a "free thinker" you'd make up your own
- religion and your own practices. You'd make up a creation myth and some sort of
- explanation for the world, and so on. And of course you'd be stuck having to
- explain the same problems that every religion has had to explain for so long,
- and good luck to you if you think you can explain it any better than anybody else.
-
- But why waste so much effort on something you hate as much as you say you do?
- If Christianity doesn't control your life, then why are you spending so much time
- trying to bring it down? If I saw someone claim that they weren't controlled by
- a thing, then they spent all their time trying to destroy it, I'd say they were lying.
