- As an individual, no, I can't concentrate on all captions at once. But in the
- group of friends I was with, there were 2 brass players. There was one guy
- who writes and teaches drill. There were 2 guys (myself included) who write
- and teach marching percussion. All of us had been drum corps fans since
- about 1978, so we knew what to look for, and we did have a concensus of
- opinion regarding the outcome.

- I think it is also worthwhile to point out that we did not just see the shows
- at finals. We saw the top 12 three times in three days, from different
- positions in the stadium. Most of us had also seen most or all of the top 12
- in earlier-season shows.
