  34. As an individual, no, I can't concentrate on all captions at once.  But in the
  35. group of friends I was with, there were 2 brass players.  There was one guy
  36. who writes and teaches drill.  There were 2 guys (myself included) who write
  37. and teach marching percussion.  All of us had been drum corps fans since
  38. about 1978, so we knew what to look for, and we did have a concensus of
  39. opinion regarding the outcome.

  41. I think it is also worthwhile to point out that we did not just see the shows
  42. at finals.  We saw the top 12 three times in three days, from different
  43. positions in the stadium.  Most of us had also seen most or all of the top 12
  44. in earlier-season shows.
