  18. Oh?  One of my favorite moments in the 1988 PBS broadcast came at the very end.
  19. The announcer was giving the semifinals scores out and the camera focused
  20. on the Cavaliers just as he recited Cadets' and Cavaliers' scores.  It turned
  21. out that Cavies had beaten Cadets in semis although they lost to them in
  22. finals.  The Cavies reacted as if they said:  DAMN!  We beat them in prelims
  23. and we let them get past us!  That is consistent with them being ignorant
  24. of the semi-final scores, not their knowing them.  If they had known, they
  25. would have acted that way when the *final* scores were announced!

  27. Perhaps the management and staffs knew.  The kids in Cavies sure didn't!
