- 1988 SCV was much better in my opinion. '89 was much more "in your face,"
- and maybe executed a little cleaner. But watch the snareline on the videotape.
- Accordion drill. Also, in Kansas City I was about 15 rows up, and got the
- full impact of the *soft* sections of the show. In my opinion, it was the
- most musical ensemble SCV has fielded. 1988's performance on Finals night
- was the single most emotional, magical show I have ever seen. Anyone who
- was there knows that the crowd was nearly hypnotized the whole time.
