- Not really. We travel to the next show site during the night and arrive anytime
- between 4 to 7 in the morning. The bus doesn't really lend itself to deep
- slumber, so we are given at least 2 hours of 'floor time' when we get there.
- Basically we have an equation.....divide bus time in half and then add floor
- time enough to make 7 hours of sleep. We just started this last year and we
- had a much better year, tempermentaly. People were more awake/alert, and
- less likely to bicker. We didn't have the mid-season 'bus-wars' that we often
- had in the past.
-
- Once we get up, we have another hour to eat/shower, get equipment ready (Change
- heads, oil valves, and change to practice flags)...so we actually start
- rehearsal around 10. If we don't have a show, we will rehearse until midnight,
- or until the cops come and tell us to stop.

- We will do this if we have prelims....go to bed early the night before, get up
- at 3AM and go do run-thru's.

- Just about! We have a rule that either you cover the horn (Valves and
- mouthpiece) or you take it with you and find it some shade. Burnt on valve oil
- isn't very cool.
