- Sorry...there are no top 12 corps who use matched grip on snare anymore.
- In fact, I'm fairly confident that all top 25 use one form or another of
- traditional grip. Going into a top 12 corps auditions cold, with no corps
- experience or use of traditional, your friend should probably set his
- sights realistically on bass drum (which can be a blast, too.) Another
- option is to get some experience with a 13-25 corps, work on traditional
- playing, and try out for a top-12 line in 1994.
