- Rocky Mountain Magic (Thornton, CO) also used a synthesizer in the beginning of
- the '87 either as an experiment or possibly just for the heck of it because
- they were planning on touring just the first half of the season. After a few
- shows on the west coast they got rid the synthesizer after coming close to the
- Mandarin. When they did get rid of it they started beating the Mandarins by a
- fairly good margin. Too bad they couldn't complete their season that year.
