  28. As an alternative to this, who has had the experience of closing their eyes and
  29. being able to *see* (not "mind's eye, I mean a visible picture) a sometimes
  30. stationary, often moving, image. This has happened a few times to me, I never
  31. recognize the location or the people, and there is no accompanying sound. This
  32. happens while I am wide awake, it is not the onset of dreaming.....Any ideas?

  34. The picture is usually a small circular area within the "black" that you normally
  35. see when you shut your eyes. What is this called, if it is not a form of
  36. hypnagogia.
