- As an alternative to this, who has had the experience of closing their eyes and
- being able to *see* (not "mind's eye, I mean a visible picture) a sometimes
- stationary, often moving, image. This has happened a few times to me, I never
- recognize the location or the people, and there is no accompanying sound. This
- happens while I am wide awake, it is not the onset of dreaming.....Any ideas?

- The picture is usually a small circular area within the "black" that you normally
- see when you shut your eyes. What is this called, if it is not a form of
- hypnagogia.
