  21. Gopher Hole Junior College (Mankato Campus) faced with near impossible odds of
  22. victory and more likely odds of being thrashed senseless chose to take on a
  23. different goal to this game, which was to hold A.A.O. under 100 points.  The
  24. Holes (and you thought their mascot would be gopher, didn't you?) took the
  25. delay of game penalty whenever they could (to get more time off the clock),
  26. whenever they did run a play it was more of a time eater (sweeps, etc.), and
  27. on they went to a full time prevent defense to greatly slow down the scoring
  28. pace and to generally frustrate the A.A.O.
  29.  
  30. In a game arranged by myself the guys from the College of Espionage assumed
  31. the identity of the Iowa State Cyclones and surprised the Nebraska Cornhuskers
  32. with an apparent upset.  As you may know I am currently attending the
  33. University of Colorado under an assumed name to gain a degree here in order to
  34. obtain a masters degree from the M.U. College of Espionage in General Covert
  35. Activities.  The reason I arranged that game was to give C.U. a better
  36. chance to win the Big 8 title so I can have a fourth consecutive Miami
  37. vacation through my membership in the marching band here.  I know this may
  38. sound selfish and a misuse of the College of Espionage's resources but afterall
  39. I am a major financial supporter, at least they think I am.
