  21. Yes, Cary. There are. Actually, there are quite a few of them. Some are
  22. better organized than others, some are 'official' with a charter, dues
  23. and (wow!) a budget.

  25. Some groups are built of energetic people who deeply desire a change in
  26. the system. Some are built of embittered people who know little besides
  27. vindiction. Fortunately, the majority are in the first group.

  29. Specific to Oregon, the loudest group is probably Dad's Against Discrim-
  30. ination (DADs). I've had both good and bad luck with this organization.
  31. They are making inroads, but strike me as a little militant. They're in
  32. the Portland phone book, if you'd like to check in with them.
