- Yes, Cary. There are. Actually, there are quite a few of them. Some are
- better organized than others, some are 'official' with a charter, dues
- and (wow!) a budget.

- Some groups are built of energetic people who deeply desire a change in
- the system. Some are built of embittered people who know little besides
- vindiction. Fortunately, the majority are in the first group.

- Specific to Oregon, the loudest group is probably Dad's Against Discrim-
- ination (DADs). I've had both good and bad luck with this organization.
- They are making inroads, but strike me as a little militant. They're in
- the Portland phone book, if you'd like to check in with them.
