- Remember the Nt parable of the master who left and gave a portion of
- seed to each of his three servants? Well, if not, the master comes home
- and rewards the servants who managed their seed the best. It's a
- pseudo-capitailist moral story, the ones who do the best derseve the
- best, but that's another story. When, I used to care. I heard one of
- the best interpretation's of this parable, by my pastor. He said that
- one is only accountable for what they know to be truth. i.e. a satanist
- who has never heard the "good news" will be just as elligible for
- eternal life, as the pious born-againer. Because the satanist operated
- with the only information that they knew about god.
-
- This begins to fall apart though if the satanist hears about christ,
- then he is damned if he doesn't convert. So us that are debating this
- point from a non-believing standpoint are on a "highway to heaven, but O
- I sorta like the ride." >:)
