- a canadian network carries liq-tv. i am sure mtv/hbo and other cable networks
- (including our own) market their stuff to as many appropriate external
- networks as they can. i have seen many productions of foreign networks
- on canadian media. or is canada unique in regards to imported kultcha?
-
- and U.S. networks may be picked up worldwide directly off satellite feeds.
-
- when i was in korea, i was watching much american stuff (mtv, cnn) in my hotel.
- american forces channels also dedicate many hours to various segments
- of popular programming that the "troops" would miss while on station.
- american forces channels are often accessible to ANY of the locals.
-
- i like liquid television myself. quite fun.
-
- we also get ren&stimpy. perhaps you should worry about your cultural exports
- and what foreigners may think of your society :-) :-)
