- Please learn to _read_ the English language before impulsively translating
- it. "There aren't that many people" does not necessarily exclude a small
- % of people devoted to this more "alternative" show.
-
- How would this make alt.tv.chips any different from any _other_ Altnet group?

- Just because a show's not on prime-time, or it's 10-15 years old, doesn't
- mean people don't watch it. Read my original post if you want
- clarification and statistics. Anyway, even if what you said actually was
- true, maybe you should read something other than alt.config and alt.sex
- for a while. Altnet is abundant with groups discussing things that have
- limited followerships, but nevertheless generate stimulating discussion.
- Same goes for the whole of Usenet. To many, this is what news is all about.
- Should we disallow stuff like comp.lang.logo simply because Logo is more
- of a "sparse interest" language?

- Oh, please. Thus we should continue creating things like alt.cascade and
- alt.butt-keg.marmalade to avert _real_ followership of _real_ items, yeah,
- right.
-
- Sincerely,
- Tom Miller.
