- Do you recognize that the "American Green Party" has some things in
- common with the various Green Parties elsewhere? If so, wouldn't it
- make sense to have a group to discuss common ground (and yes,
- differences too) between various manifestations of the Green Party? The
- proposed group meets this need.

- Anyway, since the Green Party believes in regionalism, I suspect you'll
- find just as many differences between the various Green Parties in the
- US as between the "American Green Party" and its "European
- counterparts". Note also that your suggestion would leave out the
- Canadian Green Party, while the original proposal would include it. So,
- why not create a general group before we start creating regional
- versions? (Or must we address US requirements first, the rest of the
- world later?)
