- "Hi Doormat!" says a tall feline human woman with downy golden fur. She
- twitches her ears and whiskers at him, and he notices she also has a feline
- tail. "I'm Thyra, and I don't think we've been introduced yet. My friend
- here is Jason." She indicates an equally tall male human in a black leather
- jacket and greek Fisherman's hat. He seems engrossed in the display of a
- cyberdeck in front of him on the bar. Hearing his name, he disconnects a
- 5mm black cable from the interface connection on the back of his head and
- allows it to reel back into the cyberdeck. "Hello friend." he says "Welcome
- to the Place. We'd be honored to share a drink with you."
-
- Thyra looks Doormat over and says "You sure you want to be called Doormat?
- I think Doormouse fits you better. Sounds more warm and friendly. Besides,
- no one here is likely to walk on you or treat you like a doormat. This is a
- friendly place. And a safe one, too. Care for a hug?"
