  35. twitches her ears and whiskers at him, and he notices she also has a feline
  36. tail. "I'm Thyra, and I don't think we've been introduced yet. My friend
  37. here is Jason." She indicates an equally tall male human in a black leather
  38. jacket and greek Fisherman's hat. He seems engrossed in the display of a
  39. cyberdeck in front of him on the bar. Hearing his name, he disconnects a
  40. 5mm black cable from the interface connection on the back of his head and
  41. allows it to reel back into the cyberdeck. "Hello friend." he says "Welcome
  42. to the Place. We'd be honored to share a drink with you."

  44. Thyra looks Doormat over and says "You sure you want to be called Doormat?
  45. I think Doormouse fits you better. Sounds more warm and friendly. Besides,
  46. no one here is likely to walk on you or treat you like a doormat. This is a
  47. friendly place. And a safe one, too. Care for a hug?"
