- I would say that a majority of the actual crusaders were. At least in
- the early crusades. The fourth crusade(I think it was) was just a
- trade war. The problem with the crusaders and most of the
- inquisitioners was that they were told to do wrong things and I imagine
- that a number of themn knew it was wrong but wouldn't do anything
- because they were told as good Christians they should follow orders.
