  32. I would say that a majority of the actual crusaders were.  At least in
  33. the early crusades.  The fourth crusade(I think it was)  was just a
  34. trade war.  The problem with the crusaders and most of the
  35. inquisitioners was that they were told to do wrong things and I imagine
  36. that a number of themn knew it was wrong but wouldn't do anything
  37. because they were told as good Christians they should follow orders.
