- A festive group of Callahanians and friends gathered at Gypsy's
- for a Pizza Feast! Rowan (Gypsy), Beth, Aahz, Stef, Gary,
- Henry, Russell, Mandelbear, Colleen, Lynn, Jilara and Alaric
- ate the following delicious pizzas representing various sacred
- toppings.
-
- 1. mushrooms, olives and onions (Gypsy and Beth got hungry
- before anyone arrived with toppings)
-
- 2. half pineapple, ham and almond (Gary) and the other half
- hot italian sausage, garlic and artichoke (Aahz). Gary brought
- mango nectar to drink with his Hawaiian as the appropriate
- sacred drink.
-
- 3. homemade pesto with mozzarella and feta pizza. (Gypsy. I
- told you this was a California party after all!)
-
- 4. Sausage, mushrooms, garlic, pepperoni, anchovies, cheese
- next appeared as devotees combined their ingredients. (various)
-
- 5. a modified Hawaiian with Canadian bacon, olives, pineapple
- and almonds. (Jilara and Alaric) (Hmm, did this one have
- anchovies as well?)
-
- 6. ╥Yuppie pizza╙. The toppings were sun-dried tomatoes, fresh
- basil, garlic and oregano and tomato-basil sauce on whole wheat
- crust. (Lynn)
-
- 7. dessert pizza. Chocolate topped with white chocolate and
- marzipan! (Henry)

- Much visiting and silliness, good music and comradarie were
- had by those able to attend. We missed some friends, especially
- SEA who couldn't come after having helped plan the affair. This
- is a sure sign that we will have to do it again sometime! Also, no
- one came up with a Weber so the mysteries of barbeque pizza
- were not experienced. (Robbie where are you!)
-
- This report written by Rowan (Gypsy Woman) and any mistakes
- are my own. Thanks to everyone who came and advanced the
- debate of the one-true-pizza with such amiable good humour.
