  27. That's debatable.  The LA riots happened, because a segment of the population
  28. see the system as being rascist and unfair.  There is severe economic
  29. regimentation when you look at the number of young black males that
  30. are unemployed compared to the number of young white males.  Also, with
  31. the steady increase of university fees, less and less people  from
  32. working class and lower middle class backgrounds can go to university -- more
  33. social regimentation.

  35. The rich have gotten richer and from the middle class down people
  36. have gotten poorer.  Economics is used to supress people.

  38. The support of the contras was an autocratic move as was arms for
  39. hostages.  Congress was subverted and the system of checks and balances
  40. was thwarted.  If that isn't dictatorial what is?

  42. Likewise, people on the right are always calling people that are
  43. even slightly left of center communists, so I think that it's
  44. perfectly reasonable to return the favor and call people that are
  45. right of center fascists.  I particularly remember Jesse Helms
  46. calling Walter Mondale a communist during the 1984 presidential
  47. campaign.  Likewise, Jane Fonda has often been called a communist
  48. even though she is a part of the "privilaged" class.
