- With regard to the uuencoding of files for transferring
- with mail. There is another method of transferring files
- but both sites must be using the 'PINE' mailer. This is
- menu driven mail handler which also handles attachments
- as ASCII files whether they are ASCII or not!
-
- As for getting digitized photos of some classic trees . . .
- well I am soon going to be one of those new types of employees!
- My employer is in the process of setting me up to work
- out of home . . . that means they supply all the equipment
- I need to produce. What will doing is creating Video Graphics
- for their Instructional, Public Relations and Training Videos.
-
- Besides the Amiga/VideoToaster system they will getting me
- a Full colour scanner from which I will, of course, have
- to practice! What better way to practice than to develop
- some images of my favourite trees.
-
- Is it expected that all images be UUencoded and dropped into
- the Alt.bonsai slot?
-
- Where ever . . . expect to see some images as soon as the
- equipment arrives. Probably within the next two weeks!
