- Do they get _all_ the UseNet groups? Some of the boards I call don't get cer-
- tain groups. Only the college board around here gets alt.sex. There are other
- boards around that get UseNet but they censor the list. Does HoloNet do any
- censoring -- as if modemers are a STUPID lot, too stupid to decide on their own
- what they should be allowed to read -- uh, if not, I might be interested. But
- if they do censor what their users are allowed to read they can keep it all all
- to themselves (oh, and you). I guess you can tell I'm leery -- that's just be-
- cause so many system operators around here don't respect people's 1st Amendment
- rights to be able to read anything they want.
-
- Oh, I should add... the nixpub board I'm mailing from doesn't get alt.
- sex either... but at least we have the option of a "private" subscription if
- it's that important to us. To me it isn't -- the group is too heavily contrib-
- uted to and I'd have to delete 20 screens of new messages every day. I just
- think it's the principle of the matter, not so much the fact of the matter.
