- I have always liked fried potatoes the way that my grandmother made them. (it is
- 'grandma' for all those mamaw/papaw types out there. Oddly enough, the
- Van Fossen family down the road used mamaw/papaw).

- She would slice the potatoes into chunks about the size of the tip of her
- finger. leaving the skin on, she would boil the potaoes until they were cooked
- all the way thru. Then she would fry the in a skillet with a good layer of
- grease in it. She would cook until golden brown or slightly more and season
- with pepper and salt.
