- Whenever I feel like this, I pick up my Far Side collection and look up
- 'Edgar finds his Purpose'. Pretty corny, I know, but the point is, how do you
- recognize your purpose when you find it? In Gary Larson's mind, it's a funny
- little object hiding behind the seat cushion. In reality, it's a lot harder to
- recognize. Maybe you can try looking for a purpose rather than a PURPOSE. I
- mean, look for some little goal, some small accomplishment you can achieve.
- Then move on to another, and another. Eventually, you may happen across your
- PURPOSE, your huge, lifetime goal, but until then at least you'll have plenty
- of intermediary marks to aim for...
-
- Dunno if this will help you or not. It won't completely erase that dull pain,
- but it will lessen it somewhat. A step in the right direction, maybe...
