  14. Somehow, I'm under control
  15. Should I be?
  16. Normally by this time I'm paranoid, nervous, angstful, and cringing from the
  17. inevitable rejection that is sure to come....
  18. But I'm also happy, racing up through the sky, headed for orbit as fast as 
  19. I can get there. You have to get sufficient altitude you know if you're
  20. going to plummet back to reality......

  22. But not this time. She's great, I like her a lot,even starting to care about
  23. her, but there's no sound of engines warming up in the back of my head,
  24. no rush of adrenaline, no obsessive thoughts, no crying, no endless checking
  25. for email or anything like that...just lots of thoughts, ideas, images,etc.
  26. but none of the tyranny of emotion that has always been stock standard for
  27. me at times like this.
  28. Am I actually in control of my feelings this time, or have they been so 
  29. stomped on and beat out of me that I don't even have them anymore.....?
