- I understand that the topic of my question has been
- the subject of a substantial thread here, so I first
- apologize for being late to the cakewalk and asking after
- something some of you may be tired of hearing about
- (relevant messages don't seem to still be on my news
- host) ...
-
- I've heard it said that the founders of Snapple are
- politically somewhat to the right of Attila, and among
- other things have been hevy contributors to anti-abortion
- groups; and that, further, there was a boycott against
- them on the part of pro-choice groups.
-
- Is this true? Is there a way to find out more about
- the specific causes that the Snapple folks have helped
- out? Who called the boycott? How, if at all, is this
- affected by aa leveraged buyout of Snapple I've heard
- about this year?
-
- Thanks for any responses; my (previous Snapple-loving)
- friends were chagrined to hear this, but want to get a
- little more corroboration.
