- Hi, netters,
-
- Not sure if this is the right group so apologize if I am wrong.
-
- The question is: In my lab we got a lot of 8-bit raw images and need
- to plot them in 3d. In the past we upload it to the mainframe and use
- the program there to plot it, and recently we got a laser printer so
- we consider to do it on the PC. I checked many anon ftp site but can
- not find a proper program to plot a 8-bit image in 3d.
-
- I can do it by convert a 8-bit image into 3 column ascii text but it
- takes a lot of disk space and ploting is very time consuming using the
- 3dplot program for small data set (20 vs. 256*256) Can someone give
- me some clue on a 3d plot program plotting images? or someone can
- tell me how to write one in C or Fortran.
-
- Thanks in advance.
