- Introduction
-
- This is my port of the approximate text searching tool agrep. It requires
- RISC OS3 to run. agrep_txt is the text version of the man page. This archive
- does not contain the source code or all the documentation provided with
- agrep, I can make this available if required. The original unix source code
- can be found on hensa.unix and the computer science departments ftp server
- here in liverpool. I have version 2 of agrep working but I feel it is far
- too unreliable to make it worth releasing, and it eats memory, it can run
- out when given a 4Meg wimpslot :-(
-
- Installation
-
- To install this application copy the agrep executable to your library
- directory or change the command_is line of the desc file to command_is
- "<agrep$dir>.agrep"; and copy the executable into the !agrep directory.
