Check the label on your installation disks to ensure that you are installing a version of Windows Sound System that is the same or newer than the version already on your computer. Choosing Custom Installation allows you to change the I/O address for your system. * If you want to return to the sound check dialog box, choose Continue.

* To return to the Sound Check dialog box, choose OK.

Setup detected a problem with the Windows Sound System driver because the audio hardware in your system is competing with another board or peripheral device for the same direct memory access (DMA) or interrupt (IRQ) channel.
Possible Solutions:
* Choose Hardware Configuration from the Microsoft Windows Sound System Setup dialog box to change the DMA or IRQ setting for the Windows Sound System sound board.
* Change the DMA or IRQ setting for the competing board or peripheral device.
* Remove the conflicting board or peripheral device from your system.

During installation, Setup looks for the GLOBAL.VCB file. This file contains the global vocabulary from the Voice Pilot application. Global Vocabulary contains voice commands that Voice Pilot always recognizes, regardless of which application is active. For example, Global Vocabulary contains commands that are common to many applications, such as "Yes", "No", and "Cancel".
* Choose Yes to overwrite the GLOBAL.VCB file.
* Choose No to save any changes you have made to the Global Vocabulary.
