- The Water Resources Database has been developed by the New Mexico
- Museum of Natural History and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service in support of
- the exhibit "Arid Lands, Sacred Waters." There are 67 files associated with
- the database. Of the 66 files, 61 are Hypercard stacks and all are public
- domain freeware. There is no charge for the stacks, we only ask for
- suggestions and feedback on how we can improve the stacks.
-
- If you wish to make a donation to the museum to keep this project alive and
- see future developments, please feel free to do so. You may address any
- donations to:
-
- New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation
- 1801 Mountain Road NW
- Albuquerque, NM 87104
-
- There are also some pict files associated with the database. In the case of
- the pict files, their use is limited to educational purposes only. Please
- respect this limitation so we may make more information available.
-
- There is also a MacroMind Director file of a groundwater cycle. This file
- is for educational purposes only. Please respect the limitation on the use of
- this file so we may continue to develop educational software.
-
- All files are compacted as self-extracting archives and binhexed. My
- experience has shown that programs such as StuffIt or Compact Pro work
- best for decoding the binhexed files.
-
- Feel free to make changes to the Hypercard stacks. Please feel free to share
- any changes you make and please give the Museum credit.
-
- Thank you to Art St.George and Paul Chang at the University of New
- Mexico computer center for their assistance in making these files available
- on the internet.
