  1. These sounds are intended to replace the sounds in Doom v1.2 (registered).
  2. They require Dmaud, which I have included.  Although funny, one of these 
  3. wav's forces me to rate the whole batch PG.  To install, simply copy all 
  4. of the files to your DOOM directory and run the batch file.  Once 
  5. installation is complete, you may delete all of the the .wav's, go.bat, 
  6. and this text.  You may want to keep dmaud.  It's small and may come in 
  7. handy.  BE SURE TO KEEP A BACKUP COPY OF DOOM.WAD AS I HAVE NOT INCLUDED 
  8. AN UNINSTALL PROGRAM.  This program does not replace graphics or music, only 
  9. sound fx.

  11. Although improbable, we are not responsible if: 
  12.        - your monitor swallows you head first
  13.        - you play Doom until you grow horns
  14.        - your fingers freeze in such a position that allows you to 
  15.          reach left arrow, ctrl, and alt simultaneously, but ruins your 
  16.          career as a concert pianist
  17.        - there is any equipment damage, including your sound card launching 
  18.          itself out of your box and through the neighbors' window.

  20. Feel free to distribute this freeware to anyone you like.  I only ask 
  21. that you distribute this ZIP in its entirity so that no one has to search 
  22. for dmaud or write their own batch file.
