Here are all the files (claimed) to run Doom with a modem. It sets up a network through the modem, so both ends, obviously, need to use it.
I have tried a few ways to get it to work, but with no success. I tried connecting, via a dos communications program, to the other computer and then dropped to it's dos shell. I then ran all these drivers and then SETUP a Doom Network game. It did not work. I also tried running the drivers before the connection, conneciting, and then shelling out to the SETUP of Doom. This also did not work.
I distrubute this with one qualification- that you let me know if, somehow, this works at all. (*even if the 1.2 patch works better*)
