- The Texas Revolution Scenario BETA 1.0
- (c) 1996 George Galindo; all rights reserved
-
- A brand new Scenario for MicroProse's Civ II
-
- Still testing the scenario a little bit. If you have any comments,
- feel free to mail me at ggalindo@firstnethou.com and let me know
- what you think.
-
- Some designer notes:
-
- 1. The Calvary in San Antonio represent the courageous men defending the
- Alamo. Why do the Texans have leadership and none of the others do...to
- represent the courage and bravery of the Texans.
-
- 2. The barbarians represent the American Indians. They will present a
- pesky challenge for the Civ that wishes to grow instead of fight.
-
- 3. Mexico gets the pyramids to represent the Aztec pyramids outside of
- Tecniclotican. This gives them a HUGE advantage in a drawn out game.
-
- 4. I am still working on the correct attitudes, victory points, etc. for
- this scenario. I am in the process of learning how to create these damn
- things, so it might play a little funky.
-
- Other scenarios under consideration:
-
- US Civil War -- US, Confederacy, Texas, Mexico, Britain, France. Why Texas
- as an independent country? Well, this scenario will have a historical
- twist; Texas breaks away from the union to become independent instead of
- joining the Confederacy, although allied with their cause.
-
- World War I -- US, Britain, France, Central Powers, Ottoman Empire, Russian
- Empire, and Italy.
-
- World War II (The Pacific War) -- US, Japanese Empire, Great Britain, China,
- USSR.
-
- Have fun, and happy Civving!
