  5. Start the configuration program CONFIG and select the driver S3 86C911.
  6.  
  7. This is a TSR driver, i.e. it remains resident in system memory.

  10. Note that there are 2 drivers for DataCAD:
  11. DL_911, if you are using EMS,
  12. CK_911, if you are not using EMS,
  13.  
  14.  
  15. If EMS is active, then you must decide whether to use it or not. If not, then the correct driver will automatically be loaded during installation.

  17. Before starting DataCAD you must first activate the driver.
  18.  
  19. We recommend you to place an entry in your AUTOEXEC.BAT to automate this procedure
  20.  
  21. You should be familiar with the following 3 driver options: (CK_911 was used for the following examples, but the options also apply to DL_911)

  23.  - - removes a previous driver version:
  24.     ck_911 -r
  25.  
  26.  - - changes the standard interrupt number:
  27.     ck_911 -f62
  28. installs the driver with the interrupt 62(hex). Standard setting: 60(hex)
