  9. DESCRIPTION:

  11.    Boggled is my rendition of the classic Parker Brothers game "Boggle".
  12. The object of the game is to find as many words as possible from among
  13. 16 lettered cubes. You play against the computer, which has access to 
  14. a dictionary of 32,000 words. 
  15.  
  16.    This release is a significant upgrade from version 1.0. It includes
  17. SuperVGA (640x480) screens, 3D-rendered graphics, digital sound effects,
  18. user-defined dictionaries and more.

  22. REQUIREMENTS:
  23. ------------
  24.    A 386/486 processor
  25.    DOS 3.0 or greater
  26.    SVGA video card with VESA driver/support (640x480x256)
  27.    At least 460k of conventional RAM
  28.    At least 305k of Extended Memory (XMS) - 912k recommended
  29.    Approximately 900k of disk space
  30.    Optional sound card (Supports PC Speaker, Sound Blaster & SB Pro,
  31.             Adlib & Disney Sound Source)

  35. INSTALLATION:
  36. ------------
  37.    Boggled is distributed in a ZIP compressed file. Use PkUnzip to
  38. decompress the files into an empty directory. The contents of the
  39. ZIP file are as follows:

  52.    There is no further installation needed. Simply type BOGGLED to run.
  53. Options, including audio device selection, are configurable within
  54. the main menu while running Boggled.

  56.    Three additional files will be created as the game is used. They
  57. are as follows:

  59.     BOGGLED.HSC  - High Score file
  60.     BOGGLED.CFG  - Configuration file (options, sound card, etc.)
  61.     BOGGLEDU.DCT - User-defined dictionary
  62.  
  63.    All three files are optional and may be deleted when desired.

  69.    Boggled 2.0 is capable of being run from Windows, provided enough
  70. conventional and extended ram is available.

  76.    This program (Boggled 2.0 for DOS) is hereby contributed "as is"
  77. to the public domain.  The program, including its companion audio 
  78. and dictionary files, is distributed as feedback-ware.  As such, it

  80. distribution in the shareware or retail marketplace. I merely ask
  81. that if you enjoy it, or have comments or suggestions, send me
  82. feedback. A sense of accomplishment is the engine that drives these
  83. types of projects.
