- Welcome to The Las Vegas Bingo Club! The LVBC is a 256 VGA Bingo
- game. It would be to your best interest to read the documentation for
- better knowledge of the game and the functions of the game.

- --- LICENSE AGREEMENT ---------------------------------------------

- The Las Vegas Bingo Club is NOT Public Domain, but Shareware. The
- Shareware concept is try before you buy. You entitled to try this
- game for 15 days before you either pay the registration fee or delete
- the game and no longer use it.

- The NON-REGISTERED version is not the same as the registered
- version. When you register you will be sent a disk that has the
- registered version. In this version you will have more types of bingo
- to play along with the beg screens removed.

- Please feel free to distribute this non-registered version so
- others will be able to use it also. It must be distributed in its
- complete, unaltered form (i.e., all manuals, files, etc.).
- Commercial distributors of Shareware must obtain written permission
- from the author before making this product available. You may charge
- no more than $5 to cover the cost of disk fees, etc.

- Do not de-compile or disassemble this program. Doing so, or
- violating any other part of this license agreement, is a breech of

- --- INTRODUCTION --------------------------------------------------

- The Las Vegas Bingo Club is a 256-VGA bingo game. The requirements
- of the game are:
-
- IBM 100% compatible PC
- VGA card with 256K video memory
- Microsoft compatible mouse
-
- To setup the game, create a subdirectory on any drive (i.e.,
- C:\BINGO). Then just place all files contained in the Las Vegas
- Bingo Club archive into this directory. To begin the game, type
- BINGO.

- --- STARTING THE GAME ---------------------------------------------
-
- Once the game loads you will see the title screen on the screen.
- To turn off the music press the S key. To skip the screen/animation
- press the ENTER key (these features are only supported in the
- REGISTERED version).

- After the title screen will be the main game playing area. There
- will be two cards on the screen. The bingo card to the right is the
- player card. The card to the left is the computer card, this card has
- the same numbers for all games.

- You will be asked to make a game selection. Each game is very fun
- and challenging. The game types are as follows.

- Classic Bingo
-
- Classic Bingo - This game is the classic bingo game. To win in
- classic bingo you need bingo in a horizontal, vertical, or
- diagonal way. The diagram below shows examples of how to win. See
- diagram from more information.

- SPACE - Check for Bingo
- H - Hold the Ball(pause)
- P - Previous Numbers
- S - Turn sound on/off
- ESC - Quit game
- Left mouse button - Place chip on number
- Right mouse button - Drop next number(skip ball delay)

- --- BINGO PLAY -----------------------------------------------------
-
- Once you have selected your card and bingo game the numbers will
- start being selected. On the screen you will see a white ball fall
- from the top of the screen. On the ball is the letter and number
- picked. The mouse has the control over the red bingo chip pointer.
- If you have a number being picked move the pointer over to the number
- and press the left mouse button. If this number was previously
- picked or currently was picked a red bingo chip will be placed over
- the number.

- If you fall behind the numbers being picked you can select the H
- key. This key pauses the computer from picking new numbers. You can
- then flip from the previous number page to the player bingo card
- while the hold key is on. Once you get caught up press the H key once
- again to turn the selection of numbers on.
-
- A number will be selected every 5 seconds if a button has not been
- pressed.
-
- If you have bingo, press the SPACE BAR key. The computer will then
- check your card to see if you have bingo. If you have bingo a winning
- screen will be displayed. After which you will be asked to select
- another game type.
-
- There are NO ties in the Las Vegas Bingo Club. If the computer has
- bingo right after the number was selected the computer will win.
-
- NOTE: You can check for bingo while the HOLD key is active.
-
- Pressing the ESC key at anytime will return you to the main
- selection area where you will be able to QUIT from the program.
-

- --- TECHNICAL INFORMATION -----------------------------------------
-
- Not enough memory to run - This means that your video card does
- not support enough video memory to run The Las Vegas Bingo Club
- or your computer does not have enough free memory to run LVBC.
-
- You need a VGA card that has atleast 256k of video memory.
-
- Mouse Missing Error - If your mouse is not connected or your
- mouse driver is not loaded into memory then you will have this error.
- The Las Vegas Bingo Club has been tested using Microsoft, Logitech,
- and a Kraft Roller Ball.
-
- File Missing Errors - These errors are caused by a file Las Vegas
- Bingo Club needs is missing. The following files should be in the
- LVBCxx.ZIP file:

- BINGO.EXE
- BINGO.GAM
- TITLE.GAM
- PREV.GAM
- PREV2.GAM
- CWIN.GAM
- PWIN.GAM
- 6X82.FNT
- BINGO.DOC
- REGISTER.DOC
- ORDER.FRM

- All .EXE, .GAM, and .FNT files are needed for the Las Vegas BIngo
- Club to run. If you are missing one of these files check the archive
- for the file. If the file is missing out of the archive please notify
- the Sysop of the BBS you downloaded it from. The latest versions of
- all EVA software will be available on Dust Devil BBS (702) 796-7134
